Another interesting day.  I’m going to try something a little  different for breakfast tommorrow to see if I can get numbers closer to what I’ve had some other days and reduce the spike.  No coffee after breakfast with any creamer or artificial sweetener.  This may be influencing things more than I thought and is probably throwing off my carb. count.

Today’s breakfast:

1 tortilla / 8.5 grams carb.  — 1/2 cup whole cottage cheese 4 grams carb. — coffee with “x” tablespoons half & half /ten blueberries.

3 slices bacon / zero grams carb.  / 240 calories / grams of fat?  Who cares?

3 eggs scrambled / zero grams carbs / 21o calories / grams of fat?  Who cares

Tommorrow’s breakfast will include:

1 tablespoon half and half — one gram carb. / 20 blueberries — two grams carb. / 5 strawberries — 2.5 to 7.5 grams carb. / 1/2 cup 2% cottatge cheese 4 grams carbohydrate. (total calories for above foods is between 150 and 175)

3 slices bacon / zero grams carb.  / 240 calories / grams of fat?  Who cares?

3 eggs scrambled / zero grams carbs / 21o calories / grams of fat?  Irrelevant.

About roguediabetic

I am a Type 1 diabetic diagnosed in August of 93 while serving in the United States Marine Corps. After over eighteen years of poor blood sugar control and early complications including a left big toe amputation I finally figured out how to control my blood sugar. What I finally learned about blood sugar control ultimately had little to do with what I was told.
